As antisemitic conspiracies fuel anti-Jewish hate across social media and cause real-world harm, a new report from the <\/span>Center for Countering Digital Hate<\/span><\/a> (CCDH) and the <\/span>Jewish Council for Public Affairs<\/span><\/a> (JCPA) exposes how X, formerly known as Twitter, has become one of the most effective tools for spreading antisemitism in history. Drawing on a nearly year-long investigation using OpenAI\u2019s GPT-4o,\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cA Home for Hate: How antisemitism thrives on X\u201d<\/span><\/a> uncovers systemic failures in X\u2019s content moderation, showing how the platform amplifies antisemitic conspiracy theories and allows influential, often monetized accounts to spread anti-Jewish hate to wide audiences unchecked.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPlatforms like X enable antisemitic content to reach millions for zero cost to the producer, with little to no accountability,\u201d<\/span> said Imran Ahmed, Founder and CEO, Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH). <\/b>\u201cUnless platforms change course, live up to their terms of service, and stop the spread of antisemitism and broader hate and extremism, it will likely lead to further violent incidents targeting Jewish, and other vulnerable communities.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAntisemitic conspiracy theories and hate that were once fringe have been wholly normalized \u2013 thriving in plain sight and amplified by X\u2019s failure to live up to its own policies,\u201d <\/span>said Amy Spitalnick, CEO of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA). <\/b>\u201cAt a time when polarization, extremism, and violence are rising at home and abroad, the unchecked spread of antisemitism online is a direct threat not only Jewish safety, but to the safety of all communities and our core democratic values.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
